21-23 Novemeber 2025
The next Federal Committee Meeting on Saturday 22th and Sunday 23th Novemeber 2025, in Athens.
The meeting will be held in person. Can participate FC Members and Observers.

The Union of European Federalists (UEF), in cooperation with UEF Greece, has the honor to convene the upcoming meeting of the Federal Committee in Athens from 21 to 23 November 2025.

The event will open on Friday, 21 November 2025, with a high-level ceremony hosted at the historic building of the Hellenic Parliament from 17:30 to 20:30. Prior to the official opening, a short, guided tour of the Parliament will be offered at 16:30 for participants.

The Opening Event is organized in cooperation with the Spinelli Group and will feature the active participation of Members of the European Parliament. It will gather European political leaders, former Prime Ministers, current and former European Commissioners from Greece, Members of the Hellenic Parliament, Members of the European Parliament, and distinguished personalities of high standing.

The central theme of the Opening Event is “Deepening European Integration”, with discussions focusing on:

  • The European budget and fiscal governance
  • Enlargement and the accession of new Member States
  • European security and defence
  • Social cohesion, growth, and competitiveness
  • Institutional reforms required for a stronger Union

This landmark event will also highlight Greece’s role as an active partner in shaping the Europe of the future, particularly in light of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2027. A significant initiative promoted in this context is the establishment of a Federalist Group in the Hellenic Parliament, which will reinforce institutional dialogue, strengthen the role of the National Assembly, and underscore Greece’s position as a driver of stability and institutional leadership in the region.
