How can Europe complete its internal energy market and build a stronger European Energy Union? What would a federalist approach bring to Europe’s energy future?

The UEF Political Commission 2 — Budget and Common Policies invites you to a public webinar exploring these questions with Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler MEP, President of Europa-Union Deutschland and member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE).

As Shadow Rapporteur on the EU legislative proposal to accelerate permit-granting procedures, Andrea Wechsler will share her insights into the challenges of completing the EU’s internal energy market and strengthening the European Energy Union.

Following her contribution, participants will discuss a draft PC2 resolution on the European Energy Union. The discussion will contribute to the UEF’s political deliberations ahead of the Federal Committee meeting in Brussels in November.
