Furthermore, the UEF was a partner in the demonstration, which was organised under the lead of Klaus Klipp from EUD Frankfurt.

On Friday, 4 March 2022, thousends of people gathered at the same time on the market squares in Prague, Vilnius, Paris, Frankfurt, Lyon, Tblissi, Vienna and Hamburg in order to set a sign in favour of the European values that a defended by the people in Ukraine.

A special highlight was the live broadcast with President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who gave a moving speech and thanked the people for their solidarity and at the same time stressed the importance of civil society. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Klaus Klipp for this initiative, as well as the UEF sections on the ground and the cities involved, who pulled off a logistical masterstroke, and the entire organizing team for their excellent cooperation.

Together we were able to gave a strong signal of support and of solidarity with the people in Ukraine.
