EL 89 | Globlal Chaos and European Resilience
The European Letter is back.
The attack by the United States and Israel on Iran has triggered a global crisis, worsened by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the surge in energy costs. The conflict highlights the strategic decline of the United States and the fragility of a Europe paralyzed by its own dependencies. To avoid subordination, it is urgent to build a genuine European sovereignty through “pragmatic federalism”: an integration of defense, energy, and foreign policy capable of ensuring decision-making and financial autonomy.
The European Letter is published in 7 languages - from the edition 77 - under the auspices of the Luciano Bolis European Foundation in cooperation with the Union of European Federalists.
