This online workshop focuses on the creative process behind political communication, showing step by step how a message in favour of a sovereign, democratic, and federal Europe can be transformed into a compelling social media post.

What the workshop is about

The session will guide participants through the entire communication workflow:

• from the initial idea or political message,

• to the choice of format and visual narrative,

• to the final post ready for publication.

Rather than focusing only on theory, the workshop will present practical techniques and concrete examples, based on the communication experience of the European federalist movement.

Tools and methods

Participants will be introduced to a set of accessible and free or low-cost tools commonly used in federalist communication:

• Canva for graphic design and layout creation;

• Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to support research, framing, drafting captions, and refining messages;

• Map-based visual tools, including MapChart (https://www.mapchart.net/europe.html), to create clear and powerful geographical representations of political data and narratives.

The workshop will show how these tools can work together, helping communicators save time, improve clarity, and increase the impact of their messages.
