The event will open with welcoming remarks by Velko Ivanov, Secretary General of UEF Bulgaria, and Mustafa Hadzhisyulejman, President of JEF Bulgaria. The programme will also include a quiz session and a presentation of the new Master’s programme “Politics and Policies of the EU” by Assistant Professor Lubomira Popova.

Programme
UEF Switzerland is organising the “Europäischer Nachmittag / Après-midi européen” as part of the Europe Day celebrations.

The event will feature the award ceremony of the Europe Prize 2026, recognising outstanding contributions in four categories: Politics, Economy and Society, Media and Information, and Breakthrough. The ceremony will be followed by a panel discussion with the award winners focusing on the future of Europe and European cooperation.
