The European security environment is in transformation, and old solutions can no longer be relied upon. Do we need a common defence in Europe? Is it time to deepen integration in order to restore stability in Europe?
This event organised by Union of European Federalists Finland (Eurooppafederalistit ry) will draw from President Sauli Niinistö’s report on Europe’s resilience. The panellists will consider, among other topics, whether the EU’s current structure is strong enough to respond to serious threats, and what federalisation would concretely mean for Europe’s security.

NOTE! The programme will be held in English.

Everyone will have the opportunity to attend various panel sessions taking place at the Turku Europe Forum, arranged by different organisations from Finland and beyond.
