What we have been up to

  • Support for women’s rights

UEFL and JEF Luxembourg took part in the demonstration held on 8 March to mark International Women’s Day.

  • Congress of the Union of European Federalists in Barcelona

Pierre, Andrea, Alain and Christelle attended the UEF Europe Congress last weekend, which adopted a new European strategy, a political manifesto and various resolutions. • Advocacy coalition ‘Defend your future now’ from LUkraine

UEFL attended the first event organised by the LUkraine coalition last Monday, which focused on the issue of children deported by Russia, featuring a moving account by Kseniia-Anastasiia of her life under Russian occupation and a speech by the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Olexandra Matviichuk.

The coalition will organise monthly events on topics such as combating disinformation and hybrid threats, and Ukraine’s reconstruction and resilience. We invite you to find out more about and contribute to the initiative: Advocacy Coalition.
