wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Dear Friends, dear Members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this year, I send you my best wishes for these end-of-year holidays and for 2025, hoping that the new year brings you health, happiness and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to warmly thank you for your commitment and loyalty, which allow the <strong>Europe Group<\/strong> to continue working for a federal, sovereign and democratic Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>What we did in 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past year, we are proud to have organized several high-level conferences, in hybrid format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>on February 20 with Luis Romero Requena, Dr Gal of the Legal Service of the European Commission (2009-2020), on \u201c<strong>the rule of law in the EU, in what state?<\/strong> \u00bb, a meeting with representatives of European parties in Belgium;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>on April 25, an event on <strong>the issues of the European elections<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>on November 27, a conference on \u201cTrump return and the need for a European Federation \u2013 <strong>Lessons learned from the Draghi, Letta and Niinist\u00f6 reports<\/strong>\u201d , in cooperation with the UEF and the UEF Belgian section;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter campaign<\/strong> and on May 25 for the Brussels 20kms, and in <strong>Strasbourg on July 17 for the constitutive plenary meeting of the European Parliament<\/strong>, among a delegation from Brussels, Italy, France, etc. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064494740960\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064494740960<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alain Lamassoure,<\/strong> honorary president of the Europe Group, former Minister and former MEP, was in Bordeaux on May 30 to debate <strong>the issues for the European elections<\/strong> and we alerted European citizens to the <strong>risk of a lost French vote<\/strong> for the elections: <a href=\"https:\/\/cercle-ceci.eu\/la-campagne-et-lavenir-du-parlement-europeen-le-risque-dun-vote-francais-perdu?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR05XzW4wh1VjSVbeRojYYDOrvVK9a03oTlB5wrsE8NX8j0LsDF0DJw9sj8_aem_jxtHuDExJDc2eT5Cb4juVA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>la-campagne-et-lavenir-du-parlement-europeen-le-risque-dun-vote-francais-perdu<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some have found the time and energy to contribute articles to the federalist press and training courses intended for our colleagues, such as that of<strong> Paolo Ponzano <\/strong>on <em><strong>The distribution of competences in a federal Union<\/strong><\/em> on 28.11 (online), by JF Drevet \u201c<em><strong>Expand the European Union? (the new components of an old dilemma)<\/strong><\/em>\u201d on 19.09, or by myself on \u201c<em><strong>Rule of law<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, 23.05, in partnership with GRASPE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also note that UEF Group Europe has been approved as an <strong>Associate Member Organization of the World Federalist Movement\/Institute for Global Policy (WFM\/IGP)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Our projects for 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the new year, we have many projects, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A conference on European Competitiveness in January-February (speakers to be confirmed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An intervention on Sunday February 17, to present the European federalist movement to the AEPL group in La Hulpe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>even more partnerships to bring you new meeting opportunities and topics for reflection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>To enable us to achieve these ambitions, your support is essential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We therefore invite you to renew your annual subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amount of contribution: \u20ac30 to the UEF Europe Group account (IBAN: BE67 3100 2367 7887 \u00b7 BIC: BBRUBEBB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are also welcome to make a donation to our association to help it pursue its objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We remain at your disposal for any questions or additional information.
